Sometimes called Jukai (sea of trees) or "the suicide forest," Aokigahara has inspired myths, urbands legends, and now poetry. This collection of poems, written through an excursion with BBC Radio to Aokigahara forest at the base of Mt. Fuji, features the poetry of Arai Takako, Osaki Sayaka, Jordan A. Y. Smith, and Yotsumoto Yasuhiro with an intro by BBC producer Anishka Sharma and comment by BBB co-producer and sound engineer, Barney Savage. (Completely bilingual Japanese English)
